Manual therapy is a hands-on technique used to evaluate and treat soft tissue injuries and joint problems for the purpose of regulating pain, increasing range of motion, reducing or eliminating soft tissue inflammation or facilitating movement and improving function. Manual Therapy by definition is the art and science of one-on-one, hands-on interaction between a healthcare practitioner and a patient. The goal of manual therapy is to restore normal movement and function to the joints and soft tissues. Manual Therapy can include:
